I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. I successfully passed the NCLEX on my first attempt (75 questions) and possess strong foundational knowledge to support your exam preparation. I am committed to assisting nursing students by providing tutoring services and sharing exam materials for review.
I currently work as an Ambulatory Care Nurse. I am responsible for delivering nursing care management services to assigned populations. Employing a collaborative interdisciplinary approach, I aim to optimize patients’ ability to remain in a community setting. My primary objective is to meet patients’ needs while striving for the best clinical and resource outcomes. I closely monitor the effectiveness of care plans and ensure patients receive the most beneficial interventions. Collaborating with physicians, I identify at-risk patient populations requiring care management services and conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to develop comprehensive and individualized care plans. I also serve as a patient/family advocate, facilitating communication between healthcare teams and connecting patients with community resources to enhance their healthcare experience.
As an ambulatory nurse, I play a significant in patient education. I educate patients about their personalized care plan and ensure they understand its importance. I apply many of the same skills in my tutoring approach. I explain the specific learning objectives, topics, and concepts students must grasp. I break down complex subjects into manageable units, ensuring students understand the building blocks of knowledge and how they fit together. This enables them to see the bigger picture and connect with different topics. Students find my explanations easy to understand, as I utilize analogies to simplify complex ideas. I have experience with different standardized testing products, enabling me to analyze data and help students develop effective learning plans for the NCLEX exam. Moreover, I offer valuable test-taking strategies for NCLEX-style questions.
Education is my greatest passion, and I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and aspirations.
