Meet Nurse Ketrina
I’m a Registered Nurse, an educator at heart, and living proof that the NCLEX doesn’t have to be terrifying — I passed it on my first attempt in 75 questions, and now I help nursing students do the same.
My background
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and I’m a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. I work as an Ambulatory Care Nurse, where patient education is at the center of everything I do — explaining care plans, breaking down complex information, and making sure people truly understand, not just nod along.
That’s exactly what I bring to tutoring. I break complex subjects into manageable building blocks, use analogies that make ideas stick, and draw on experience with standardized testing products to analyze your data and build a study plan that actually fits you.

How I teach
Every student learns differently — so every session is built around you. My approach is student-centered, relaxed, and flexible: I listen to how you learn, adjust as we go, and create an environment where it’s safe to say “I don’t get it yet.” We’ll work on understanding the material, sharpening your test-taking strategy, and following a personalized study plan — the three things that move the needle most.
Education is my greatest passion. Helping a student go from overwhelmed to confident is the best part of what I do — and I’d love to do it with you.
